The SmartScope® CNC 500 offers all the great CNC features and performance in a large travel bridge-design system. Parts move on a precision DC motor-driven Y-axis stage while the optics assembly travels in the X-axis across a stable bridge cross member. This design assures rapid, smooth part translation and robust measurement performance.

An extended Y-axis travel of 600 mm is optional, and 300 mm Z travel is optional.

Speed. Servo driven stages with bridge mounted X and Z, and precision guided Y motion, provide fast access to any point in the large measurement volumn of the CNC 500.

Accuracy. An isolated granite platform and rugged bridge construction provide the necessary stability for high accuracy performance.

Three dimensions. Enhanced autofocus and edge detection algorithms, and optional touch probe provide precise, fast measurements in all three axes.

Software. Full-featured 32 bit Measure-X®, with ample functions for general purpose dimensional measurement and a powerful, easy-to-use interface, is standard. Optional software includes SmartCAD® 3D Learn for CAD import/ export, MeasureFit® Plus contour analysis software, SmartReport® Plus, powered by QC-Calc custom report generator.

Every SmartScope® CNC 500 is multisensor capable.

Whether your needs call for multisensor now or in the future, your SmartScope® CNC is up to the task. Its advanced design allows the additional precision of multiple sensors, including touch trigger probes, micro-probes, and laser scanners. Field retrofits are easily accomplished.
